Ashworth lost and found

California-based clothing company Ashworth has launched its Spring Summer 2009 collection. Two new ranges within the collection are ‘South O’ and ‘Finding Trevose’, which is so-called after John Ashworth and his creative team got lost trying to find the Cornish golf resort on a recent UK trip. The Cornish lanes – that tend to tighten up the further you get lost – and the county’s stunning linksland obviously made a profound impression on Ashworth and his crew.
The new collection also features garments under the ‘Ash 33′, ‘Ashworth Organics’ and ‘Core’ ranges, following on from Autumn Winter 2008.
“This is the strongest men’s line up we have seen for over 10 years,” says Paul Bazeley, Midlands sales manager. “The reaction by accounts to Autumn Winter was fantastic and we are firmly on the front foot with the Spring Summer 09 collection. Everyone agrees that this is by far the most diverse and fresh look Ashworth has created and I am looking forward to getting it on the road.”
