It’s back again, quicker than anyone thought. Yesterday was Blue Monday, which is meant to be the most depressing day of the year due to factors such as the weather, debt and low motivation, all contributing to feelings of sadness and hopelessness.
Global technical outdoor brand, Helly Hansen asked 2,000 people when they last truly felt alive and coincidentally, one in ten admitted they felt they are completely missing fun from their lives. Helly Hansen’s brand ethos encapsulates being outdoors, embracing nature and the elements, and its “Alive Squad” epitomises the true meaning of living life to the full and making every moment count, (regardless if you’re office bound or on the side of a mountain). We have used the results to collate a list of the top 20 things to do that can help make you feel more Alive.
Helly Hansen have also created a brand video to showcase the kit in the harshest environments with the professionals who wear and rely on the kit and its technology day in day out, optimising how often they feel alive whilst wearing Helly Hansen: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUi3UVO0Nik
To coincide with the survey results, we have put together an “Helly Hansen Alive Squad” who will be supporting the public with feeling Alive, sharing their personal insights, experiences and advice about feeling Alive. The squad consists of polar guides, alpine skiers and professional sailors.
