Berghaus develops for SS10

For spring/summer 2010, Berghaus has exciting developments across its collection with important, commercial new products in clothing, footwear and rucsacs.The range includes lightweight performance kit for high energy activities, along with gear for recreational walking and global travel.

Clothing

In clothing, standout developments include the addition of an extremely lightweight shell to Extrem, the Dru Jacket, made out of Gore-Tex Paclite Shell.

One of the most significant initiatives for the season is a major expansion of base layers. Using the established and well regarded Argentium fabric, Tech T Advanced is available in three different fits – technical, regular and relaxed. The range sees Berghaus increase its base layer offer from six to 25 styles.

Footwear

Berghaus is focusing on low profile footwear for spring/summer 2010.Building on the huge success of the re-engineered Explorer boots, this season sees the introduction of the Explorer Trail Low GTX and Explorer Trail Low Mesh.

Elsewhere, Berghaus has taken some of their most popular shoes and made them even better.Central to the improvements is the next generation of the outstanding Opti-Stud grip system which delivers optimum grip and mudshedding, using premium rubber compounds.Opti-Stud sole units feature in the improved Pro Rush II and Cuesta II shoes.

Rucsacs

As ever, Berghaus has maintained its focus on rucsacs, and this season sees the introduction of a new technical walking daysac, the Freeflow Pro.Introducing an enhanced back system, the Pro sets a new benchmark for airflow daysacs, as the most advanced Freeflow ever.

The Pro sacs range in size from 20L to 50L, and include two women-specific models.The collection perfectly complements the close fitting Roam sacs, completing an outstanding range of Mountain packs.

In addition, the Outdoor Active Freeflows have been given a makeover.

Berghaus has also developed a number of durable and adaptable travel bags.The Ultra 80, Alpha 40 and Trion 30 are three feature-packed products, ideal for journeys near and far.
