Berghaus has winter covered

For winter 2007, Berghaus has strengthened its collection with some great new products that will appeal to outdoor enthusiasts of all persuasions.
First up is a new range called Ator, pitched as performance outdoor gear that covers all of the style bases. Ator delivers the Berghaus promise of high performance in a sleek, pared down package. Minimum weight gives maximum effect in a range for streetwise men and women who seek adventure in adrenaline fuelled outdoor activities.

Ator products incorporate leading design, construction and fabrics, such as two layer GORE-TEX Performance Shell, GORE-TEX Soft Shell, and Polartec Thermal Pro. The clothing range includes waterproof, soft shell and 3-in-1 jackets, waterproof and soft shell trousers, and light insulation layers.

Away from Ator, Berghaus has also improved its core Outdoor Active collection, with both new and revised products. The Hellas (SRP £200) is a sleek and stylish multi-purpose jacket. The waterproof GORE-TEX fabric provides full protection from the elements, while a warm inner layer keeps the cold out.

The Baltoro (SRP £150) is another key new winter piece. Designed for all but the worst weather, this soft shell jacket combines the warmth of a mid layer with the protection of an outer shell. The Baltoro looks great, with its sculpted shape and engineered styling, and feels even better, blocking out the elements on those cold days, without restricting movement.

Also in Outdoor Active, the Arctic Gemini (SRP £200) offers a fantastic 3-in-1 winter jacket option. The outer jacket is made out of waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX fabric, while the inner jacket uses Berghaus’ own performance fleece, AWL 200. Providing all of the combinations that most people are likely to need outdoors, the Arctic Gemini is versatile, effective and great value for money.

Finally, complementing the winter clothing, Berghaus also has an extensive range of accessories that are ideal as Christmas stocking fillers. These include men’s, women’s and kids’ knitted beanies (from £12 to £18), and both standard and windproof fleece gloves for all ages (from £10 to £28).
