Andy Bough, who was until recently marketing director of apparel company Glenmuir, has joined Cork-based Premium Golf Brands. Bough is starting with PGB in July, in a role that SGB Golf understands is predominantly sales related. At the time of going to press, confirmation from PGB was not available.
Bough worked for Glenmuir for 13 years, and has been instrumental in the brand’s on-going role as the primary clothing brand dressing European Ryder Cup teams.
“I have enjoyed 13 fantastic years at Glenmuir,” says Bough. “It is a great company and I have been lucky to work with a great team of people. I am obviously relishing the challenge of a new role, and I am taking with me some very happy memories of my time with Glenmuir.”
“I would like to thank Andy for his support and commitment over the past six years and wish him well for the future,” says Colin Mee, managing director of Glenmuir. “The current management team will assume Andy’s responsibilities in the short term and we will be looking to strengthen the team through an appropriate appointment as soon as is practical.”
PGB has recently won the global licence for Calvin Klein Golf, to go alongside
Cutter and Buck, Green Lamb, Fairway and Greene, Zero Restriction and Dwyers and Co trousers.
