BUFF launch new hat collection for 2016

BUFF LOGOFor 16/17 BUFF will be celebrating 25 years in the Outdoor industry, and what better way to celebrate than with the latest innovation in products and extending their successful debut hats range.

Since the introduction of BUFF in 1992 they have continued to evolve and develop high-tec gear for extreme sports as well as branching out to a sports lifestyle line.  With more than 90% of their sales still being produced by a local family run factory in Igualada, the products can maintain their high quality.

The debut A/W 15/16 Hats collection took off and re-ordering for the season was boosted by a more streamlined forward ordering system.  For A/W 16/17, product numbers have increased with the introduction of the new Kids collection and a wider choice of sport lifestyle knitted hats and neckwear.

At ISPO, BUFF will be showcasing a variety of new products and technologies as well as new designs from their current collection.

bUFF 1In terms of fabrics, the new ‘Tech Fleece Fabric’ is new for the season and was chosen due to it’s excellent breathability and softness on the skin.  The brushing treatment it undergoes increases the thermal insulation power.  It offers maximum protection from cold weather without being bulky, creating a protective cushion.  The tech fleece fabric is available in a bandana, hat or windproof and tech hat.

Polartec has always been a go to fabric for extreme cold and/or when activity is lower intensity.  The two-in-one design of the new reversible Polar neck warmer makes it easy to add a bit of colour or personality to a trip when many neutral layers are usually worn.

BUFF Hats are now available in junior and child sizes including microfibre and polar, polar, merino wool reversible and knitted and polar fleece.

BUFF 2The BUFF dog range has expanded over the years and has proven to be a popular product.  The latest collection features coordinating patterns and colours with some of the adult products matching the dog designs.

BUFF have realised that there is a thin line between sports and leisure time, and with this cross-over they have created a lifestyle collection on the back of the sports hats collection that brings together the latest trends in athletic wear whilst keeping many practical aspects of the sports range.
