HI-TEC has appointed a new Lifestyle Sales Manager, John Broughton. John has a wealth of experience in the Outdoor footwear market having previously worked for Hi-Tec in numerous positions including Outdoor Product Manager. He rejoins the brand after having been involved with the development of branded and private label lifestyle footwear for some of the UK’s major high street retailers.
HI-TEC has agreed a new partnership with the Keswick Film Festival, which runs from the 25th to 28th of February 2010.
The event is celebrating its 11th year with over 30 films being shown over three days. UK premieres include Beneath Everest, Nepal Reborn, a Nepali film charting their road to becoming a republic, and Narcisco, a prize-winning film from Italy. Africa Trek, a film of an inspirational journey across Africa from Cape of Good Hope to Israel, also features.

HI-TEC also recently announced its commitment to sponsor the UK tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, credited as the most important adventure film festival in the world.
Since the festival began in Canada 33 years ago, it now visits 280 communities in 30 different countries worldwide.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is touring the UK in January and February 2010 for the first time, with nine events planned across the country.
