Cobra enter the Matrix

Cobra have used a new super-lightweight alloy to build what they believe is the most forgiving iron on the market.

Metal Matrix is 65% lighter than steel and 35% lighter than titanium. That has allowed engineers to shunt weight from the face to the club’s edges, promoting resistance to twisting and lowering the centre of gravity. The result is the new Ultimate Forgiveness Iron, or UFi.
Cobra are so confident the extra-low CG will help the ball up that they have built these clubs with stronger lofts, to help distance. The clubs are also more offset in the long irons to promote squaring of the face at impact. A chunky polymer topline inspires confidence while helping keep the weight low down in the head.

King Cobra UFi irons are available in men’s graphite (£669 per set) and steel shafts (£600 per set). Both sets have seven pieces – 5-SW.
