Craghoppers announces large year-end sales increase

Outdoor adventure and travel clothing company Craghoppers has announced a year-end sales increase of over 25 per cent growth in the brand.
The company has seen growth on both their wholesale business, strengthening relationships with their key accounts and also in direct (mail order and e-commerce), which continues to grow year on year.
Growth has been achieved in key product categories such as Micro Fleeces and one winning style in particular, the men’s Cory Microfleece that sold 100,000 pieces alone. This may be attributed to the change in climate, whereby layering is the key to combating our ever-changing weather, or simply that micro fleeces are a key element of the modern weekend, outdoor and travel wardrobe. Other top product growths for Craghoppers include their Kiwi and Nosquito trouser ranges, which are worn by celebrities such as Michael Palin and Ewan McGregor.
Craghoppers MD Jim McNamara commented: “The demand for Craghoppers quality travel clothing is increasing. Our ability to provide durable garments comes from environmentally friendly materials and covers the wide range of customers requirements, their likes and dislikes and we give them the best choice in outdoor apparel.”
