Some will jump on a plane and fly across the planet. Others pack their cars to go chasing a storm. Many dream about waves while commuting everyday. It’s all part of travelling to your destination. Building on the success of its travel bags, DAKINE announces the launch of three new additions to the range for Spring 2017.
If your travels have a wave destination, this is the perfect ally. Using 305D CORDURA® HP Coated Ripstop, the Cyclone II Dry Pack 36L (RRP £120 / €160) has a waterproof welded construction with roll top closure and welded front stash pockets with water resistant YKK® PU coated zippers. Humidity transfer is not an option with this pack, which makes it also perfect as a commuter piece. It will hold your wetsuit without making other sections wet; or it will store your 15″ laptop safe from rain or sea water from outside. You will comfortably carry your board with its integrated system and the breathable, ergonomic shoulder straps and back panel. The pack features a fully airtight two-way purge valve to inflate or compress air within the bag. When compressed, it is easier to store and when inflated it offers buoyancy for in-water transfers. No surprise it is a staple style for Dakine’s Surf Team!
The new Split Adventure Pack (RRP £110 / €145) is the perfect carry-on piece of luggage. It keeps your back fresh and fit with the ergonomic foam back panel and shoulder straps with breathable air mesh. It keeps your valuables safe with the fleece lined iPad sleeve and sunglass pocket. It will save yourself quite some hassle at security with the deployable padded laptop sleeve. To top it off, you can easily carry a board by deploying the carry straps and buckling up the adjustable sternum straps.
The Split Roller EQ Bag (RRP £115-125 / €150-165) provides maximum organization with hardly any weight or bulk. It features #10 YKK lockable zippers, interior zippered dividers, external ID slot, front quick access pocket, retractable handles and reinforced urethane wheels. Available in two sizes (75L / 100L).
