Glenmuir add nine

Glenmuir have added six polo shirts and three cotton knitwear sweaters and tops to their flagship Men’s 1891 Collection for Spring/Summer 2008.
The Collection – which co-ordinates mercerised cotton polo shirts, Pima and Supima cotton knitwear and Lamora and Scottish Cashmere knitwear – sees Prestwick, Muirfield, Musselburgh, Turnberry, Carnoustie and Troon shirts added in a range of patterns including solid colours, tonal and textured stripes and a wrap check.
The new sweaters are v-necks Jubilee and Eden and the zip-neck Machrie (pictured).
All products are available in S-XXL and in three new colour palettes – Freshwater (cool blues, white & khaki); Tropical (vibrant greens, fuchsia & black); Sunset Beach (cool yellow, deeper blues and white). Shirts retail at £44, the Machrie and Eden sweaters at £48.50 with the Jubilee slipover at £52.50.
The entire Glenmuir range will see new branding in 2008, the distinctive Glenmuir 1891 logo set to take prominence in new back neck labels, swing tickets and packaging. “Using the Glenmuir 1891 logo capitalises on its huge trade and consumer awareness, and gives us a versatile identity that we can present to suit the distinct image of each of our new collections,” explains Glenmuir Marketing Director Andy Bough.
