Glenmuir has underlined its commitment to junior golf by launching a new collection for boys aged 8-13 as part of its 2008 collections. The GK Pro is a lightweight cotton shirt, with a piped zip neck and raglan sleeves. It will be available in four colours and retail at £23.
The more weather-protecting GK Team is a long sleeved half zip wind shirt, Teflon coated with a 100% polyester microfibre shell and a 100% polyester coated lining. It will sell at £33.
A ladies’ range which goes down to Extra Small caters for the girls’ market.
Glenmuir has already helped offer free golf lessons to thousands of young golfers this season via its partnership with the PGA and the Golf Foundation – and with the PGA Professionals working at the R&A Junior Golf Centre at The Open Championship, who gave over 1,000 free lessons at Carnoustie.
