Mind over matter
As part of the festival, Merrell will also be releasing offers and competitions for event attendees to help support and raise funds for Mind, the Mental Health Charity, as part of a long-term commitment to support mental health and open the outdoors up to all.
Simon Sweeney, head of Marketing at Merrell UK said: “At a time of great uncertainty, we are really pleased to be able to support the outdoors community and give people some much needed escapism via the Mountain Running Event session. This year Kendal is all about bringing the great outdoors indoors and I am really pleased we are able to help in this mission and share inspiring stories of our ambassadors such as Ragna Debats. We are looking forward to the festival kicking off and being able to also continue our long-term support of Mind charity at a time when its services are in most need.’
