Montane announces ‘Pro Store’ initiative

Montane has announced the creation of Pro Store, rolling out from Spring Summer 2010. The invite-only retail accreditation scheme is designed to make a broader range of Montane products available through a geographically distinct network of retailers and a small number of online retailers, capitalising on the constantly growing demand for Montane products.

Among the many benefits, Pro Store retailers will be able to access instore furniture such as carpet mats and island slatwall gondola units bearing the Pro Store branding as well as being able to participate in special Montane Mountain Activity Days (MMAD) which give retail staff the opportunity to experience the products as part of a two-day guided mountain adventure.

Pro Store is being supported with a consumer advertising campaign. With a five figure spend and commencing March 2010, this includes a number of print and online consumer titles which it is expected will drive significant store traffic.
