North Face announces new appointments in EMEA

Outdoor apparel specialists The North Face have announced changes to their Europe, Middle East and Asia organisational structure.
Keith Byrne has been promoted to the position of The North Face Strategic Marketing Manager EMEA. After eight successful years with the brand, Byrne will now take over responsibility of Sponsorship and PR at a Pan-European level; he will also be responsible for implementation of the sustainability program for The North Face EMEA.
Following two successful years managing the pan-European trade marketing activities for the brand, Erica Zambon has been promoted to the position of Brand & Trade Marketing Manager EMEA. Zambon will take over responsibility for pan-European brand advertising, trade marketing activities and retail marketing initiatives, as well as oversee the Graphic Services unit.
Both Byrne and Zambon will report to Lucia Zennaro, Marketing Director EMEA.
Karen Williams has been promoted to the position of Product Manager Tekware / Sportswear EMEA. In this position, Williams will be responsible for the research, coordination and execution of the Tekware & Sportswear lines.
Sara Canali has been promoted to Development Manager EMEA. In this role she will manage all aspects of the product development team and lead all development related issues.
Both Williams and Canali will report to René Skytte, Product Director EMEA.
Alexa Stampfer has been promoted to the position of Retail Partnership Manager EMEA. In this role Stampfer will manage the Partnership stores to achieve sales and profitability targets and ensure business growth.  She will report to Francesca Pozzi, Retail Director EMEA.
Effective December 1st 2007, Leila Comin will join the company as Retail Merchandise Supervisor EMEA.  Over the past four years, Comin has served as buyer / merchandiser for the Benetton Group and Stefanel, where she gained solid experience in retail merchandising.
