The Outdoors Industries Association (OIA) is pleased to announce that online retail giant Amazon will be joining the exceptional line-up of speakers at the upcoming Outdoors Future Camp – ISPO ACADEMY, taking place on 5thand 6th September in Ecclesall, Sheffield.

Amazon has been at the forefront of eCommerce growth in the UK, and the Outdoor Industry is no exception to this. As Amazon grows to become the UK’s 5th largest Outdoor retailer, there are learnings and best practices that can be shared to improve any brand’s go-to-market digital and eCommerce strategy.

With his presentation: ‘Six reasons eCommerce is changing retail, and how you can benefit from this, Sam Martin, Senior Vendor Manager for Amazon (UK Outdoor) will share Amazon’s six favourite examples with delegates.

Sam joined Amazon after running his own business, the UK’s first 24/7 digital one-hour convenience store delivery service. Prior to this he managed Diageo’s (owner of Smirnoff and Guinness) UK Online Pure Play business, and launched their discount sector business and convenience sector pricing strategy.


Also new to the schedule is the: Smartphone filmmaking hands-on workshop, presented by Imran Azam from Myagi. We watch and use video more and more, filming our weekend adventures and promoting our business.  This fun workshop get your using your phone and offers practical tips and tricks to improve and speed up your content creation, whatever you choose to film.  A social media video storyteller, Imran specialises in video marketing for brands who want to engage and retain their audience.  Through teaching, consultancy and production he works closely with clients to introduce or streamline their content creation with and their wider social programme.
