The end of March saw the OS Outdoor Show take over Birmingham’s NEC – well, part of it, at least. The show, aimed at outdoors consumers, is packed with interesting things to do and see, plus plenty of outdoor products alongside tourist information on places to go and enjoy across the British Isles and further afield.
With so much to see and do, and a huge number of people in the arena, it can feel a little cramped and the organisers might consider putting the event in a bigger hall next year, as the aisles can get uncomfortably crowded – but if the only criticism a visitor has is that the show is TOO successful, they must be doing something right!
Skaters doing performing incredible stunts, bikers doing hair-raising acrobatics and climbers hanging 50 feet above the ground, all alongside top-name guest speakers.
The NEC also has the benefits of acres of parking and a pretty much central UK location; what more could a visitor ask for? SGB’s already looking forward to next year.
