SPRAYWAY EXTENDS ECO-SENSITIVE FABRICS FOR A/W 08

Autumn/Winter 08 sees the extension of Sprayway’s range of eco-sensitive fabrics, which are designed to reduce their environmental impact, with the introduction of a three-layer system to its Trek range, offering a sustainable performance fabric for each layer. The company has also teamed up with Teijin’s Eco Circle, the world’s first closed-loop recycling system for polyester products.
Ian Christian, Sales and Marketing Director, said: “The very exciting developments in our Autumn/Winter 08 range build on the success of our first technical innovations for Spring/Summer 08, which included clothing using bamboo and a selection of recycled fleeces. We are delighted to be continuing and enhancing this increasingly popular strategy in line with consumers’ demands.”
For waterproof, breathable protection, Sprayway is offering Eco Storm, with Eco Therm and Polartec recycled fleece providing mid layer insulation, and Bamboo as a great next-to-skin fabric.
