UK cleaning, waterproofing and after-care specialist, Storm Care Solutions, has appointed Kate Fenton as design & brand assistant.
Kate will be tasked with strategically positioning and promoting the brand to capture the attention of its target consumers.
Having won an industry award for a university point of sale project, which was submitted to POPAI (a progressive industry association, which promotes best practice, dedicated to enhancing the total shopper experience), Kate brings a fresh pair of eyes to the company and will be responsible for the design, branding and marketing of Storm Care.
A recent graduate in graphic design, Kate joins Storm Care full time after a year’s internship at Storm DFX, the point of sale design and production arm of the business. Experience while working at Storm DFX includes, designing POS for brands such as Nivea, Superdrug, Tresemme and many more.
Managing Director for Storm, Tim Wilson, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Kate to the team. She did a superb job while interning at Storm DFX so we were more than happy to have her back working full time at Storm Care. Having a fresh pair of eyes will provide a new perspective, and with her excellent credentials, I am sure Kate will become a valued team member.”
Kate commented: “I’m really looking forward to working on the Storm Care brand. I’ve recently graduated from university, so I hope to bring some new ideas to the table, as well as learn more about this side of the business. I thoroughly enjoyed my internship with Storm DFX, so when they contacted me to see if I wanted to work on Storm Care I couldn’t resist coming back; it will be rewarding to see the difference my input makes to the brand!”
