Sub Zero has sourced the very finest Merino wool yarn from the mountains of Spain for its 2015 range of super-soft seamless long-sleeved thermal baselayers.
While the brand has built a reputation over many years for its synthetic layers, which are among the top performing baselayers available, Sub Zero is aware that many people prefer to wear garments made from natural fibres. As well as being anti-bacterial and odour resistant Merino wool is also hydroscopic, which means it absorbs sweat and transports it away from the body while at the same time repelling moisture from the outside.
Sub Zero’s Merino wool baselayers are manufactured on state-of-the-art knitting machines that directly create entire three-dimensional garments without the need for any finishing. The garment that drops off the machine is ready to be worn straight away and that seamless construction results in superb comfort and fit.
There are specific men’s and women’s designs too. The men’s has a contoured drop back and the women’s a ribbed bust support, while both are long in the body to prevent rucking and feature a low profile neck.
Also available in the 2015 Sub Zero Merino range are unisex Bloo John (no fly) thermal leggings.
