TGI Golf teams up with Srixon in Holland

Henrik Stenson has rocketed into the world top-five with Srixon balls and equipment this season, and now thousands of Dutch golfers are teeing up Srixon balls thanks to a TGI Golf Europe inspired sales promotion.
Srixon, which sponsors European Tour Order of Merit leader Henrik Stenson, has supplied thousands of its golf balls to TGI Golf Europe’s 25 leading retail outlets in Holland for a consumer promotion advertised in the Dutch national golf media.

Eddie Reid, managing director of TGI Golf, Europe’s leading buying group for golf professionals, said: “Srixon has experienced phenomenal growth in recent years, and at the same time TGI Golf’s European membership has expanded significantly. We continually strive to offer the best possible promotional opportunities to our membership and Srixon’s cooperation has proved invaluable to our European members.”

TGI Golf’s retailers in Holland are offering consumers the chance to receive a free sleeve of Srixon Soft-Feel balls when they spend £75, and a dozen free if they spend £250 or more. Mike Jacobsen, european sales manager for Srixon, said: “Srixon products are now sold in more than 25 countries across Europe, and we are delighted to have enlarged our presence in Holland. Srixon believes in the excellence of its product and we place great importance on giving golfers the opportunity to try it.”

TGI Golf Europe is set to build on its success in Holland and is now expanding its membership in key European golf markets including Germany and Scandinavia.
