On the 25th of March, The Original Muck Boot Company and Cotswold Outdoor will be hosting an intimate evening with special guest and self-proclaimed Muck Boot fan, Kate Humble at Cotswold Outdoor in Covent Garden.
The exclusive evening will frame a private insight into Kate’s love affair with walking and connecting with the great outdoors. Spending most of her time ankle-deep in mud on her farm in Wales is one of the main reasons why she is such an advocate for Muck Boot. Kate will be sharing detailed and personal experiences from her established career in the British countryside gained through presenting a long list of popular and instantly recognisable programmes such as Springwatch and Autumnwatch. Her memoirs will link to her popular book ‘Thinking on my feet’ where Kate discusses the effect the outdoors has on our minds and bodies.
During the event, attendees will get the rare opportunity to ask Kate questions about her reputable career and extensive knowledge of the outdoors. There will also be a number of exciting special offers and promotions throughout the event to celebrate Muck Boot’s ranges now being available in Cotswold stores throughout the UK.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be going to an organisation close to Kate’s heart, the WWTWildfowl & Wetland Trust. The charity works to protect and restore wetlands which are crucial for protecting our environment and endangered species, as well as inspiring individuals to reconnect with nature. As quoted by Kate “By restoring wetlands, WWT can achieve so many different things in different places. It might help prevent flooding in a village in Somerset, or create somewhere wild for inner-city pupils to play”. The charity and Kate encourage people to get outside and explore wetland sites all around the UK, so put on your wellies and start the adventure.
