Think again for Christmas 07 as the iconic Timberland yellow boot takes on a new, more modern look and goes dark for the first time in its history.
This limited-edition collection is designed to step up Timberland’s style credentials, without compromising the durability and quality synonymous with the brand name. Much more creative, directional designs, interesting use of materials and a softer construction all combine to create a more fashion-forward feel for the footwear.
What’s more, the boots are also made from organic and recycled materials, reflecting Timberland’s long-standing commitment to make the environment better. Consisting of six different styles for men and women, the limited edition collection features canvas uppers that are organic and soles which are 30% recycled rubber. The brand’s workwear roots guarantee that the boots are outdoor tested and waterproof, combining durability with lightweight versatility. So they look great and are expressly designed to last too.
Supporting the environmental sustainability of the product, Timberland’s international ‘Plant One on Us’ programme means that every time any pair of Timberland boots is bought, or an old pair donated for recycling, Timberland will plant a tree for you or a friend. Even the packaging that the boots come in is environmentally conscious.
The new collection goes on sale in selected Timberland stores, leading high street department stores, including Galleries La Fayette in Paris, and independent retailers from mid-November 2007 with prices from approximately £125.
