3M is extending its Ultrathon Insect Repellent range with the introduction of a new 100ml pump spray
The pump spray, which contains only 35 per cent DEET, provides users with up to 12 hours of protection.
The UK consumer promotional campaign for Ultrathon Insect Repellent will continue to be spearheaded by outdoor survival expert, Ray Mears, who is a long standing fan of the product.
Richard Dear, Group Brand Manager at 3M, says: “In its first year, Ultrathon Insect Repellent has already been placed as the number three branded product in value share. With the addition of the new pump spray, the range is looking to achieve an even greater share in 2012.
“Ultrathon Insect Repellent appeals to consumers because of its Advanced Time Release Technology, which gives the user a balanced mix between concentration of DEET and long lasting protection. The technology means the DEET ingredient is slower to evaporate, so continues to provide protection after others have dissipated.”
In addition to the 100ml pump spray, the Ultrathon Insect Repellent range is available in a 60ml lotion and a 125ml spray.
