Sock name launches new accessories range through second own-brand name

1000 Mile Sportswear has launched a new range of accessories onto the market through the Ultimate Performance brand.

The Ultimate Performance line-up will launch with hydration bottles and belts, music carriers, hats, gloves, spikes, laces and head torches.

The Ultimate Performance range is 1000 Mile Sportswear’s second own-brand range following 1000 Mile socks, which was the company’s launch product at the end of the 1980s.

Now 1000 Mile Sportswear is also the UK distributor for Nathan running performance accessories, GustBuster golf and fashion umbrellas, Lock Laces, Noène shock dispersing materials, Maxim nutrition products and Compeed plasters.

The company’s mission statement reads: “1000 Mile Sportswear is constantly seeking prestige and premium quality new and innovative products in relevant fields.”

1000 Mile Sportswear brand development manager Nik Aveyard said: “We put our years’ of experience in the manufacturing and marketing of our 1000 Mile socks to good use in developing a second own-brand range.   

“The Ultimate Performance brand sits perfectly within our portfolio of well being, sport and leisure brands and our customers can rest assured that every product fulfils our usual high standards of design, quality and performance.  

“Plans to introduce further new products will be implemented over the next few months.”
