The new range has a deliberately clear colourway structure to eliminate the usual confusion and 'information overload' experienced by prospective customers.

Split into four categories – Basic, Classic, Down and High Performance, the sleeping bags contain a total of ten sleeping bag models, with fillings designed for a range of temperatures and in a variety of sizes from S to XXL.

The Basic category offers two models in red. The entry-level models are in mummy and square shapes. In this category, the Puk +12° has 800 grams of filling and a limit temperature of 12 degrees celsius, making it a popular choice for summer sleeping-bag for all types of travel.

The Classic range contains four models in blues and turquoise with Northguard extreme and limited filling. The Classic range offers square, egg and mummy bags with double or triple layers, with special extras including thermal collar, water-repellent underside, 2-in-1 pack sack and a full-length zip that can be used to join two bags.

The Down range in bright greens and emeralds presents three models in a variety of designs. Nordisk produces the shells in Germany and fills them with European Northdown, 90/10 duck and goose down from humanely raised birds, which is quick-drying and odour-free. The light weight is feature is joined by a water-repellent underside, compression sack, full-length zipper and removable hood.

The Bering high performance sleeping bag uses high-tech materials to deliver efficient temperature-to-weight ratio. Designed for three below-zero temperature ranges, the Bering is suitable for extreme travellers and has recently received the OutDoor Industry award 2011 and the 2012 iF material design award.

The new range of sleeping-bags are available at retailers from spring 2012.
